Dr. Richards is a warm and friendly doctor

My experience at Cosmetic Surgery Associates was wonderful. Dr. Richards is a warm and friendly doctor. He never makes you feel like you are asking too many questions. If you want a Plastic Surgeon that can make you feel beautiful inside and out, buy viagra this is the doctor for you! Let me just tell you that he had his work cut out for me and no matter how nervous or insecure I felt, seek he reassured me and my husband that I was going to be OK and that I would love my results. I have to be honest, decease for some reason I felt comfortable with him from the very first time that I met him. I felt safe and if you are going to have surgery that should be important to you. His staff is friendly and pleasant. It has only been 4 weeks since my surgery and I am already back to work and at my kids basketball games, not to mention enjoying my husband. I would definitely recommend Dr. Richards because my overall results was magnificent.

What is periareolar incision? What's the dif...
A periareolar incision is an incision made around the bottom portion of the areola (larger round portion of the nipple) within the darker areola skin. This incision has the best aesthetic healing and is often not visible even after only a few weeks. It, however, has a slightly higher chance of nipple numbness after the operation and it could be more difficult to breast feed compared the the inframammary incision. The inframammary incision is about a 1 inch incision under the breast crease.

What is the difference between implants in-fr...
They do look different. Placing the implant behind the muscle gives you a natural taper look as the strongest portion of the muscle is on the upper breast. This portion of the muscle presses on the upper portion of the implant which helps to prevent the round balloon look. Placing the implant behind the muscle also reduces the chance for breast hardening (capsular contracture). However, if you have droopiness to the breasts, an implant in front of the muscle may help to correct this droopiness better than placing it behind the muscle.

What is an ideal fill for breast implants for...
The manufacturer of breast implants recommends that saline implants be filled at least to the lowest number of the implant range. For example, a 300 - 325cc implant should be filled to at least 300cc. Filling below this level can lead to premature implant rupture. By filling to the lowest number, the implant remains the softest. As you put more and more saline (salt water) in the implant it gets firmer and firmer. Normally we want the implants as soft as possible. To use the above example, if you needed 325cc to reach your desired size we would use the next larger implant (325 - 350cc) and fill it to 325cc rather than using a 300cc and filling it to 325cc.

What we do in our practice, and what is often done, if any revision is needed in the first year there will be no charge. Though revisions are unusual, when needed, most revisions can be done in the office. If there is a problem like a capsular contracture or early implant rupture that is outside of the physicians control there may be some charges associated with correction.
